in Remembrance |
Prospective
Parliamentary Candidate Brian Dash, together with Local
LibDems, put politics aside as they joined with the current
MP for New Forest East, Julian Lewis, at this years Remembrance
Sunday service held at All Saints' Church, Fawley.(14th
November 2004).
The service, remembered all those who had sacrificed
themselves for their country in war and was attended
by many local Fawley people.
Resounding eeriely within
the church walls, the lone musician played "The Last
Post" -
and silence followed, as people remembered.
The message
was brought home with the poignant words:
"When
you go home,
tell them of us and say,
for your tommorow we
gave our today"
A
video showing highlights of the service can

Earlier
in the day, Parliamentary Campaigner, Brian Dash, was
on hand
at the Remembrance Day Service at Copythorne, joining the parade from the local
community centre to the Memorial where he laid a wreath
in memory of the war dead.
