Last Saturday Brian Dash, prospective parliamentary candidate, was presented with the prize for the largest increase in Lib Dem membership in the whole of the Central Southern Region.

The award was presented by Party President Simon Hughes at the South Central Regional Conference in Portsmouth.

Commenting after the presentation Brian said, "We are delighted to win the prize and it just shows that people are getting fed up with the other two parties. Their membership is falling whilst ours is growing by over 10% in 6 months."

Summing up the main message from the Conference, Brian said, "We are really looking forward to the General Election."
