Liberal Democrat activists were out in force over the weekend. Brian Dash and his team from the New Forest were joined by Sandra Gidley MP and Councillors and Activists from various parts of Hampshire.
A great deal of delivery of campaign literature was done, along with a large number of "meet the voters", via a door knocking session in housing estates in Totton.
Campaigns Manager, David Harrison, says "My party has the well earned reputation of being the most closely in touch with people. Whilst we are not warmly welcomed by everybody, most people appreciate that we make the effort to call and listen to them. We have also gained further evidence now that people who had always voted Labour are now switching to the Lib Dems."
