Dash Presses Health Chiefs
This page was published on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 21:59 BST

Brian Dash has been pressing Waterside Health Chiefs to reopen Hythe Hospital's minor injury unit.

The Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Campaigner has been voicing the concerns of local people, including members of Hythe & Dibden Parish Council, who have condemned the closure of the unit for more than a year as "appalling".

In response to the stinging criticism's, the New Forest Primary Care Trust have promised that the the facility will likely be open again in a matter of weeks.

Brian, a Hythe County Councillor, says " Its outrageous that people are having to go to Lymington instead of being treated in our own cottage hospital. Its less than the people of the Waterside deserve".
